In September 2025, our companies partnered to launch Ghana’s first electric vehicle assembly plant, marking a major milestone in the country’s transition toward sustainable transportation.  This initiative positions Ghana among a growing number of African countries investing in EV production and green mobility solutions.
Our collaboration aims to produce affordable electric vehicles tailored for African conditions, addressing challenges such as fuel costs, urban congestion, and environmental sustainability.  Beyond manufacturing, the companies also plan to develop charging infrastructure, after-sales services, and technical expertise, helping to build a complete EV ecosystem in Ghana. 
A key goal of the project is to create jobs and develop local skills, particularly among Ghanaian youth, while positioning the country as a regional hub for electric mobility. With strong government backing and rising interest in clean energy transport, SynonergyEV and FDZ Ghana are contributing significantly to Ghana’s long-term vision of reducing dependence on fossil fuels.
Overall, their partnership represents a transformational step in Ghana’s automotive industry, signaling a shift toward cleaner, more efficient, and locally driven transportation solutions.
